HIKE BETWEEN NATURE AND HISTORY ca 10km | ca 150 min | Malta is a small country packed with history and nature. In only a few km you can switch from amazing costal landscapes to gorgeous citadel architecture and intriguing ancient ruins. This is exactly my proposal! I would like to lead you along a really enjoyable walk along the Mistra Valley showing you some very interesting places and some hidden treasures. We will walk through Phoenicians remains and Romans facilities, we will reach lesser known St John Knight strongholds and World War II ruins: it’s like a trip into time with sea views. Doesn’t it seem great to you too? The route it’s about 10km long to be completed in around 2 and a half hours, it depends on our pace. We will meet in Xemxjia just in front Pit Stop kiosk-bar which will be our starting and ending point. From there we will start to climb up the first hill. Yes this is a “up&down” hike, we will have some climb to do but: no need to panic! It’s all about very easy ascent and descent.
