After you arrive at my house (that stays 15 km from Ponta Delgada) I will explain my options to the entrances. Next we will star the cooking class, where I explain the most important ingredients of the Azorean cuisine, then we start an authentic cozido cooking class with demonstration and hands-on experience. After, we will go to Furnas (is better if you have your own car). In Furnas we will go to the Lake and put the food (also desert) in the volcano, where the dinner will stay cooking in the underground steam for 6 hours. Then we will eat our meal and enjoy its distinct taste and the beautifull landscape around.
From a very young age, I have always enjoyed being around my grandmother and my mother's pots ... where I could smell and taste the azorean culinary, that was one of the reasons to change my live in 2015 and hopening a pic-nic company called Maria pic-nic. The cooking classes emerges in my life from my passion to Azores, and all that can be maked to develop our cultury, I also like to meet new people, exchanging experiences. I would like my clients to fell at my home as a friends, I try to explain how is growing up and live in a small island in the midle of ocean.
You can choose the meat cozido, the fish cozido or the vegan cozido. Also is incluid the desert

Vulcano pic-nic is the most famouse pic-nic of the local people from São Miguel island. The class will star in Ribeira Grande, but the dinner will be in Furnas Lake.
If its bad weather the dinner will be served insight of a house. During the time that the food is insight of the Volcano, theres some activities that you can do in Furnas.
