At the Polaroid Tour you'll explore the beauties of Florence, creating your own family memories that will last forever. At the meeting, you'll receive original Polaroid Cameras, the color films and I'll quickly show you how to use them. Together with cameras and films, I'll provide colorful balloons and soap bubbles for your smaller kids as fun props to make the photos even cooler! We'll stroll through the city center, exploring narrow streets, hidden squares and picture-perfect spots. I'll share with you the tricks I learned in over than 8 years of Polaroid shooting and the kids will learn how take nice looking photos while playing with the cameras and the props. You'll learn peculiar stories about the places we visit and I'll boost your creativity to capture it all on Polaroid. Through your pictures, you will capture the local essence while giving it your own touch. We'll explore the San Lorenzo district, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria, Pontevecchio, Piazza della Passera, Santo Spirito neighborhood and many other spots that will surprise you! We'll take a break in a lovely, tiny square where I'll offer you a cup of one of the best artisanal gelato on the planet! The kids will be entertained and you'll share with them a one of kind experience. They'll love these memories, guaranteed!
I work as a freelance videomaker and social media content creator for local businesses in Tuscany. Telling stories through photos and videos has always fascinated me. I'm passionate about analog experiences, instant photography included! In 2012 I found an old Polaroid camera in a dusty garage, what a find! I quickly improved my skills, practicing with every type of instant film and camera, taking part on International Polaroid Exhibitions and spreading the Polaroid word through many successful events in Tuscany. In 2016 I reached 27k signatures on a successful online petition, called "Save Instant Film", on Change.org that helped to find a viable future for a discontinued type of film. Polaroid and storytelling is a cool match and it fits me perfectly. I mixed the words into @polastories, my own, tiny room on Instagram.
