We'll walk in Merida's downtown (between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group) to know a little bit of Yucatan's histroy, where we'll stop to talk about the events that took place in the different historical points included in the tour. I'll happily do my best to answer all your questions concerning to the subject of the tour or any other that you may have. We'll join the downtown's life, so be prepared to walk and enjoy. Hola, I’m Eduardo, i was born and raised in Mérida where I have lived almost all my life. In my childhood I had to travel a lot. In these early trips I discovered my passion for archeology and history and luckily for me, here in Yucatan there is a lot of it! So every chance I had of taking a friend or a guest to know any wonder of this land I took it. That led me into studying tourism here in Mérida and a degree in sustainable tourist development and other in cultural and natural tourism management, both in Spain. Actually I’m studying history and preparing to become a scuba guide!
Ice cream and water

We'll start our tour in the main square of Merida. The first stop will be the governor palace in wich we'll get a glimpse of the history of Yucatan. From there we’ll start walking, stopping to hear the explanation and to have a refreshment in some of them. The order will be: Montejo's hose, episcopal palace, city museum, cathedral of San Idelfonso, Third order church and finally saint Lucia square.
I can open a tour hour on request. Send me a message and if it is possible i'll open it!
