The meeting point for the horchata bike tour is the BikeAlao shop in the port area of Valencia. You'll be kitted up with a bike and a helmet and we'll ride towards the port. At the port you'll be able to learn about and enjoy the F1 circuit, some interesting artwork and buildings of historical interest. From here we'll ride along the beach and enjoy the gentle breeze from the Med as we pass by some points of interest on the coast. From the coast, we'll ride inland by a river surrounded by an abundance of flora and fauna and stop to take in a typical Valencian farmhouse called a barraca. from here we ride through the beautiful farmlands where the tiger nuts are grown. This is the only area in the whole of Spain where tiger nuts are grown and used to make horchata. We'll head into a typical valencian village and enjoy the buildings, adorned with colourful ceramics before riding back towards the beach to Port Saplaya, "The Venice of Valencia". We'll stop and enjoy a complementary drink of horchata, valencia's most famous and healthiest soft drink, before we hop on our bikes and ride back to the shop. The tour takes about 3 hours and is mainly flat. It covers about 22 kilometres.
