Please join me for dinner in my 20th-floor high-rise apartment in downtown San Francisco with breathtaking views of the bay and waterfront. Guests will dine on a 5-course food and wine paired menu while watching the Bay Bridge light show. My goal is to share the joy of a delicious home cooked meal with friends, old and new. I hope to take the fear and intimidation out of cooking and show how easy it is to cook a delicious meal to bring family and friends together. I'll walk through how to cook without a recipe so that when you leave, you'll have ideas and skills that will give you more confidence in the kitchen and the wine store. I'll also show you tips and tricks on knife skills, how to amp up favor healthily, how to easily take basic recipes to the next level that will wow your guests, and more. You are welcome to grab an apron and help me cook while getting some hands-on experience. The atmosphere is heartwarming, respectful, fun and casual, one that creates conviviality among friends, old and new. I look forward to welcoming you into my home for an unforgettable evening.
My love of food and wine began in my Italian grandmother’s kitchen as she rolled homemade pasta, kneaded focaccia, stewed Bolognese, sliced biscotti and pressed pizzelles. It picked up a few decades later at 10-week HomeChef cooking class that ultimately led to my professionally training as a French Chef & Certified Sommelier from the International Culinary Center in New York and Court of Master Sommeliers. I lived in France for 6 years where I cooked at the Cannes Film Festival, on a lobster boat in Brittany, for the world's most famous pastry chef, for an Oscar winning actress, at a 3-Michelin star restaurant in Paris and was the executive chef at the DaVinci Code chateau. I've worked on James Beard award winning cooking shows, written a cookbook memoir and taught cooking at the #1 health spa in the world by Conde Nast. Bon Appetit!
