You have 2 options and you can choose either one of them; Option 1: Local vegan dish - Vegan Rendang Tok and Acar nenas & timun. Option 2: Fusion vegan dish - Vegan Burgers 3-ways - Jerk, Piri-Piri & Dwight's Beet. Leave a message in my inbox which one do you prefer, option 1 or Option 2. NOTE: under the same time slot I'll be conducting either rendang or vegan burger, so if there were two groups with different options, the other group just have to reschedule to different time slot but on the same day. Upon arrival you will be served cold drinks - Lemongrass and pandan infused tea. We shall start with the following : Step 1: Introduction to all ingredients and where you can get them here locally. Step 2: Preparing and assembling all the ingredients into a burger pate or a rendang paste, this involves chopping, peeling, pounding, squeezing, blending manually by hand or machines or both. Step 3: Cooking and incorporating all ingredients that have been prepped earlier, dry and wet ingredients, this may take between 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the option. Step 4: Plating Step 5: Sit down and enjoy the meal.
I have been practicing whole food plant based or vegan lifestyle since early 2013. I am very passionate about cooking and preparing vegan meals from scratch using the good quality ingredients as much as possible. Living in tropical country, we are blessed with plenty of fresh produce available all year long. Thru decades of culinary experience mostly from my late mother and ancestors who used to own restaurants and I always appreciate home cooked meals since I have been taught that way. During my spare time I love experimenting with many different ingredients to create unique taste and textures as vegan foods need not be bland and boring but pack with flavours, interesting textures and surprisingly better than the original version.

We will conduct our workshop in my cosy little dry and wet kitchen and dining area in a very relax environment where we can casually chat and play with my pets. If you're not keen on animals, I shall confine them in different room. The work place has been cleaned and sanitized so don't worry about pets hair and stuff like that.

All products are plant based but please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions, i.e. nuts, soy or gluten or coriander intolerance, I shall omit or find substitute for the ingredients.
