Welcome to the world of ancient tea!!! When you arrive our little café, Seu coffee stand, Coldbrew tea is provided and we will discuss about your tea and coffee drinking habit, from that we will choose the appropriate types of tea for your tasting session It is not only a tea tasting session, it also about history of tea culture in the world and Vietnam. During the session, I will teach you to brew tea in the traditional ceremony style (gong-fu style) which you can archive most flavours from your favourite tea. Small bites will be provided to pair with tea as well. So, after tea tasting you will have principle knowledge on culture and history of tea, how Vietnamese ancient tea is distinctive and you are able to brew in gong-fu style and cold-brew tea. What’s else: I love coffee as well, at the end of tea session, If you are interested in Vietnamese coffee culture, I will show you how to make Vietnamese Phin coffee and cà Phê sữa đá (Vietnamese classic coffee drink).
I am a traditional tea ceremony (gong-fu) practitioner. I have developed my interest on tea, especially Vietnamese ancient tea tree for 5 years. I’ve traveled and collected tea from the mountains far north of Vietnam, where my tea leaves are freshly picked from the ancient tea trees – at least 100 years old.
