Moscow now is very capitalist and you can't see a lot of communism but still there are some places, monuments, memorial plaques and buildings that remind us of that time. One of them is surely Lubyanka Square (our meeting point) with scaring KGB office and bright Central Kids Shop just in front of it. Some key communist buildings even are not thought to be communist like Metropol hotel or Bolshoy theatre. So you will know why they really are. We will talk about the revolution and political repression, about key political figures such as Lenin, Stalin and Khrushchev, about that famous soviet enthusiasm and how people were creating "a brand new world". We'll discuss the soviet market and visit some shopping malls to compare capitalist and communist market, to have a look at something soviet and yummy that is still in demand and who knows maybe you will even be given a treat :) You'll hear some stories from our families, all that we've heard from our parents and grandparents. It's gonna be a whole tour about the soviet period. Don't let russian cold deprive you of one of the most amazing tours in Moscow! Go communist with us, comrades! Stay embalmed!
