Starting at the North Byron Railway station, you'll be handed a much needed hydration kit (water!) and we'll head out on foot (of course) to get some much needed coffee. Meet a local artisan from a Byron Bay based coffee roaster. From here we'll be heading to enjoy some local cheese (and perhaps some wine) to whet the appetite. Lunch is of course on the agenda, with a degustation style meal on offer (served with wine and local craft beer). To avoid the post lunch bloat, we will have a meander around some of the local artisan shops, which offer crafted gifts and take-home memories. To finish the day, we'll get our dessert shoes on and end with some sweet delights. We'll then say bon voyage at the North Byron train station, and leave you with a full belly, new stories and some memories!
I’ve always been a foodie by nature, and love to share food experiences! I have been a strong advocate of support for small local businesses who sweat it out on a daily basis to bring to the table, yummo artisan food. Food is after all, something that connects us all. This walking tour is based in the eclectic heart of Byron Bay Industrial Estate. But we also want to tell the stories behind the food. Stories about how people came to work and live here, the stories of the people behind the food. Above all, it's about enjoying great food and drinks in the process!!
All meals are included in the cost of your ticket!
All drinks ( including water) are included.
