We will climb gradually out of the village via a small wooded valley, crossing farmland as we head for the prominent headland of Dodman Point. We'll walk a short circular route around the cliff fort, adjacent to the Iron Age earthworks which formed its major defence. Leaving the huge stone cross which marks the headland for shipping, we continue on the South West Coast Path above Vault Beach and gently descend to the village once again.
最多可有8位年满15周岁的参与者参加。 Please ensure you have suitable clothes and footwear. If in doubt, contact host who will be happy to advise.
Water bottle, filled, at least 1 litre
We have ample time to walk at the pace of the slowest group member and take photos of scenery, flora and fauna. We explore a headland, but there are no alarming drops, scrambling, etc - just walking.
