This is a two day workshop. We will meet at my home. After brief introductions, I will walk you through a hands on demonstration of ‘dressing’ your premade pot while sharing the various materials you can use for the pit firing -in a make shift metal can-of these pots. These spirit pots are ritual objects. An item to be used for intentions and affirmations or to hold a smudge stick. Gift them, use them and let them speak to you.

One handthrown and bisque fired pot per guest. And all materials needed for the firing. Additional pots purchased on site.

A jacket weather dependent. We work outside.
The experience will take place in my backyard. We will meet at my house and start once everyone is together. We will reconvene the following morning to open the ‘kiln’ and finish our pots. We will most likely meet on the covered patio as shown in the pictures. Should our patio be booked- it is our Airbnb guesthouse on the property- we will meet in the backyard in our open air patio.
