All cooking classes start with a description of the daily menu and of its ingredients, with specific reference to seasonality and provenance... plus some interesting story or legend connected to thir preparation. In my kitchen all guests will have available all needed ingredients and tools to carry out preparations. I will guide them step by step in such a way that they will learn how to select ingredients and easily reproduce the recipes at home. Our traditional menu includes preparation of: 1. Ravioli caprese 2. Meatballs in tomato sauce OR Fish with citrus fruits At the end of every lesson the guest will enjoy the meal they have prepared in my lovely terrace vith full sea view on the isle of Capri.
My name is Lucia and I am a host and chef with a 20+ years experience as cooking teacher. I am proud to say I established one of the first cooking schoold in the Sorrento Peninsula, still active through cooperations with several international travel agencies. I find in educating people to the pleasure and respect for food and sharing with them techniques and traditional local recipes the greatest accomplishment! I am committed to working with fresh and seasonal product coming exclusively from local producers to communicate the essence of the Sorrento Peninsula through its flavors!
