We kick things off at the first bar with a big spread of Polish style tapas. Think fresh crusty breads, tasty cured meats, smoked and salted mountain cheeses. With the food you’ll be sampling two incredible and historic Polish clear vodkas while taking our crash course in vodka history, production and culture. There's lots of funny stories and we keep the history short and sweet although us guides will be more than happy to go into more detail throughout the tour. We’ll then take you on an adventure through the cobblestone streets of Kraków’s UNESCO World Heritage Old Town to explore the city’s hidden vodka bars and cafes. You’ll step back in time through the doors of a communist era shot bar, explore one of Europe’s only home-made flavoured vodka cafes and get cosy in a hole-in-the wall candlelit vodka bar boasting more than one-hundred varieties. The flavoured vodkas really are mind-blowingly good and there's more than two-hundred varieties stocked by the bars on the tour. At the end of the tour we'll be stopping off to check out the city’s best Pierogi in our favourite foodie joint, perfect to soak up all the vodka and make sure you're not too wobbly on your feet :)
Klaudia, Anna, Angie, Ben & Edyta
Hey from Klaudia, Anna, Angie, Ben and Edyta! We're friendly local history buffs, foodies, travel lovers and.... professional vodka guides. (Yes it's a thing but please don't tell our mums!) Besides drinking with friends and family we've completed courses, attended tastings by the Polish Vodka Association and visited vodka festivals up and down the country. We love our city and have an incredible knowledge of local food, culture, history and nightlife. We’ve joined together as friends to give you not only the perfect introduction to Polish vodka, but also the perfect welcome to Krakow itself.
Delicious and substantial platters of Polish Tapas to start, great with vodka and if you don't have a chance to eat before. A…
2 x premium clear vodkas, 4 x choices of commercially and home made vodkas (delicious), 1 x refreshing home made lemon vodka
All of the Transportation is by foot. Everywhere is within close walking distance of everywhere else on our tour!
We like to focus on smaller places with great atmosphere, quality vodka, great selections of vodka and interesting back stories. Our second bar (usually) has the best selection of different clear and flavoured vodkas in Krakow, hands down. The third has makes their own homemade flavoured vodkas, potentially the only shop of its kind in Europe. We hit up a Communist Era style bar fourth and a great little Pierogi restaurant last.
Please do not arrive intoxicated. It is illegal for you to be served. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and cannot participate in the consumption of alcohol on the tour.
