I will introduce you into the cheese tasting world in the heart of the magnificent Old Town of Bergamo Alta, with some simple, nice and funny experiments and games concerning the senses of smell and taste. After that we will taste a selection of 6 artisanal farm cheeses to discover their culture, history and production methods, paired with 2 wines/beers. Combined with cheeses we will have snacks focaccia and bread. After tastings I will cook in my kitchen a dish related to cheeses or regions we talked about ....an example??? Spaghetti Cacio e pepe. Here some possible themes (whether you wanted a specific one just let me know in advance): -Bergamo the Italian province with more PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) cheeses of Italy, let’s taste and discover the history of cheese making in the province. -The Roman way to cheese: Rome area historical cheeses and techniques. -The Islands battle!!…Sardinia vs Sicily. Cheese production on the 2 main islands of the Mediterranean …....just one more thing, Please consider I can select only what I consider the best local and traditional cheeses. Sorry !!!

I have a life passion for traditional local cheeses as well as food and cooking from all over Italy. Traveling and discovering history and culture behind the food is a great joy to me.
