Experience a unique mountain adventure in a safe and fun environment (hiking to the summit, rappelling down a cliff and admiring stunning frozen waterfalls). We will welcome you at the Montagne d'Argent park, which is only 15 min away from Mont Tremblant Resort. La Liberté Nord-Sud has a little cabin next to the reception (you can't miss it). This where we'll meet. FYI: There is a separate entrance fee at the park; $6 per person, $2 for kids under 14. The hike follows a nice trail in the forest and it gets to the summit which offers great views of the river and the surrounding hills. Then, we will go down a bit on another face of the mountain to reach the top of a steep rock cliff where people practice rock climbing in the summer. There, you will rappelle down the 30-foot cliff with a climbing rope and harness (totally safe, we are certified pros). This will get your heart pumping and will push you out of your comfort zone! After that, we will continue our hike in the forest, admire frozen waterfalls and other hidden gems. Ready for the adventure?
I'm co-owner of La Liberté Nord-Sud a climbing school and outdoor sports company. Our team of passionate outdoor enthusiasts are ready to make you discover the beauty of the mountain. I'm passionate about mountaineering, hiking and climbing. I'm a certified climbing instructor with the Quebec Federation (FQME). I love to spend time in nature, especially on a mountain. I've climbed and hiked all over the world, but Montagne d'Argent is my favorite local spot (close to Mont Tremblant). It's a real pleasure for us to bring people to the mountain and share my passion.
