I will show you around Praga and help to discover its contrasts and artistic scene. While walking along dark streets, hidden backyards and modernised areas I want to give you a wide perspective on latest transformations in the district. Praga has experienced a major change within past few years - from being perceived as a dangerous district to the lively area attracting creative industries and local artists. Now the streets of Praga tell the story of the Second World War as well as they give a clear insight into how the creative part of the city looks like. We will take a look at the most iconic street art pieces, spot some bars and cafes and look around vintage stores presenting polish design. If we’re lucky, we will also have the opportunity to see the dark side of Praga, so be prepared for a thrilling experience!
I am Zosia, German philology student, living in Warsaw my entire life. My greatest interest is art in all its ways of expression. I love how the local culture can reflect the history, traditions and social issues of the country and that's what I'm looking for while travelling and hosting my Airbnb-experience.
We can warm up in one of the local cafes or grab a coffee to go!
We will move around so called Warsaw "Bermuda Triangle" and end up near to the Dworzec Wileński metro station.
Take a camera with you if you are willing to take some interesting Instagram shots!
