You'll be amazed by this artistic trip down the streets in Little Havana! We're trying the Cuban way in the USA, with a cup of cortadito, a taste of Latin infusion, a handful of local hangouts, and a chat with the locals. We start in the heart of Miami’s Cuban community to see historic architectural beauties, as well as a few unique art collections. You can’t have a Little Havana tour without a true Cuban coffee, so we’re taking you for the most delicious dose of caffeine. Cortadito is Cuban espresso, and we'll pair it with a typical Cuban pastry to give you the boost you need to keep moving! We are surely visiting a classic cigar factory to witness the art of cigar-rolling from the experts, and take in the one-of-a-kind aroma of the shop. We then visit one of the many locally owned art galleries in the neighborhood. Hear stories from first-generation immigrants from Cuba, and learn about the influence of Cuban art in Miami. The Bay of Pigs monument is on route to my favorite local juice bar, where you get to quench your thirst with a dose of sugarcane or mango juice. We'll also witness and understand the classic Domino's Park and try a delicious mojito for a perfect closure.
I've been a tour guide for several years first in my native Cuba and now in Miami. I'm passionate about connecting people to the local, off-the beaten path spots that really make travel special. I'm thrilled that Air B&B has chosen to partner with our team of local guides at Miami Urban Adventures to provide experiences. Little Havana feels like home to us and we are excited to show people how interesting the Cuban culture is through food, drinks and history. I'm an expert in this area . This neighborhood has some secrets and local vibe that I'll reveal in this tour.
