The cooking experience will be located in the city centre, 2 minutes far from piazza Erbe by walk. Firstly I'll give you a glass of a good local wine, during this time I will show you how to make a really tasty "antipasto" with pumpkin and herbs. Then we will prepare one of the most traditional dish of the mantuan cuisine called "tortelli di zucca", starting from the homemade fresh pasta, and breathing the real atmosphere of the Italian home cooking. After all we will sit togheter at the table, open a bottle of Valpolicella vine, and enjoy our plate of ravioli, seasoned in two different ways. ....waiting for a sweet SURPRISE!!! The experience will be really funny and suitable for everyone, all the equipment is provided by me and I'll give you all the recipes. I will also give you some tips about how to choose a good wine, how to taste it and how to combine it with food. This experience is also suitable for vegetarians, just please tell me that you are vegetarian when you book it.
Hi! My name is Andrea and my passion for cooking started since I was kid. That's why I studied in "ALMA", one of the best culinary school we have in italy. Then I started to work in many restaurants, as a cook, before deciding to change my job into cooking teacher for people which want to discover the way of making traditional Italian recipes and try the real taste of homemade food and good wine. I'm actually doing cooking lessons in the centre of Verona, near piazza Erbe at Italian language school "LinguaIT", where I have the possibility to meet new people every day from different countries.
