PLEASE NOTE: Minimum amount of people for a booking is two. If you would like to book just one spot, please ask me if there's other bookings for your preferred date(s) so I can fit you in. Our cooking course will take place in a newly renovated b&b in the center of Naples. We'll learn about the history of pasta, all its different shapes and sizes, and when to use which one. We'll then get our hands dirty; everyone gets to make their own portion of pasta for the lunch! We'll enjoy an appetizer while the dough is resting, and then get back to work. I'll help and guide you through making your own fresh pasta by demonstrating and giving tips. You'll learn how to make hand-cut pasta as well as making pasta with the help of a hand powered machine. When we've all finished making our pasta, I'll prepare our meal with it and we'll sit down together to enjoy lunch with a glass of wine. My dates are flexible - if your preferred date is not on the calendar, just ask me! Depending on which type of pasta we're making, the duration of this course may vary. I'll ask you for your preferences and availability.

After years of experience as a cook in Belgium and The Netherlands, I finally followed my dream of moving to Italy. I'm very happy to be able to continue my passion for food here, and I'm very excited to share it with people who choose to visit my new home city. Becoming a tour guide here has helped me gain a lot of insight into Neapolitan culture and history, and through my constant search for new recipes I've learned to master the Italian and local cuisine.

I'll meet you at the Museo metro station, or directly at the b&b where the cooking class takes place (which is in the vicinity of the Museo metro station). When the course is finished, I can walk you back to our meeting point, to the nearest metro station, or give you directions or call a taxi for you.
