Departure from Sapa Town, in front of the church at 7.30am. In the old times, Hmong people like Zizi hiked to Sapa market from their village. Now, this path has become a must-do trek. During this one day trek, you will have great overview of the main villages and walk through rice paddies. At the end of the trek, you will arrive in Hau Thao village where Zizi’s family lives. From there, you can enjoy the breathtaking view and explore the village. If you want, you can also join us for the family dinner cooked by Zizi Homestay. Our English speaking Hmong guide will accompany you to explain more about the story of this path, the life in the village and the Hmong culture. A taxi will bring you back to Sapa. In the heart of the breathtaking Sapa mountains, follow in Hmong’s foosteps who hike up through the forest to take care about their livestock and stay at the buffalo house where lives Zizi’s mother. Our unique path going through ethnic villages, terraced rice paddies and a forest will bring you high on the mountains. Hi, my name is Zizi from the Black Hmong ethnic minority group in Sapa. I am an experienced local mountain guide in the Sapa area. I climbed and hiking through mountain and terrace many times when I was kid and conducted a group when I was involved with climbing organizations at a social enterprise, i have deep understanding about the Sapa ethnic culture and its people traddition. I was born here and I have been guiding when I was 15 so I have 20 years of experience as an English-speaking tour guide in Sapa and love to show my customers the world I grew up in. I love to get to know my guest's cultures and experience different world perspectives. I love showing guests the village I grew up in and experiencing the other different communities around Sapa.

We'll do a 2-hour hike from Sapa to Muong Hoa Valley. We'll hike to Lao Chai, one of the area's oldest and largest Hmong villages, as well as the towns of Y Linh Ho, Ta Van, Giang ta Chai, Su Pan, Ba Ho, and Nam Tong. End your journey on the top in the house of Zizi’s mother, also called the buffalos house. The H’mong usually come there to take care about the buffalos. Meet local people or simply relax after this challenging day!
