In this workshop, I will instruct you in the creation of a sumptuous dinner of four dishes. As you create these authentic foods, you will learn the food's history and culture. I will give a brief explanation of the spices to be used, including the medicinal value. You will learn how to use the herbs and spices in traditional Caribbean cuisine. The highlight of this workshop is the absolute joy in the creation of a three course Caribbean meal using all natural products. Best of all, you get to sit around a table with the other participants to enjoy the home cooked meal that you made. This is the perfect way to spend a lovely afternoon bonding or meeting new people and enjoying wholesome food. You can also schedule a private group workshop with just your friends (maximum 8 people) where you will have a choice of menu and venue.
About me: I am very passionate about preparing simple, good, tasty food. I have over 20 years experience teaching and catering this authentic Caribbean blend of African, Indian, Chinese and European cuisine. I retired after 35 years working as an engineer, so now I can dedicate all of my time to my passion of sharing the secrets of good food and wine.
