We'll jump on the boat at dawn and watch the beautiful sunrise over South Padre Island. I'll take you to the first of several fishing spots, which will vary based on the time of year, weather, and where I've found the fish to be biting. We’ll cast our lines and kick back on the boat and let the waves rock our troubles away. You're welcome to bring drinks and snacks on the boat, and I'll have an ice chest ready for the fish we catch. The Laguna Madre is known for its Red Fish, Trout, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, King Fish, Snook, and more. Half-day charters last four hours, and we'll have you back on the dock in time to cook up your catch for lunch.
I'm a lifelong waterman born and raised on South Padre Island, Texas. Fishing and surfing have been a huge part of my life for the last 25 years. My extensive local knowledge of fishing spots and the unique landmarks of our Laguna Madre are second to none. I have traveled throughout the Gulf from Texas to Florida to Isla Mujeres, Mexico and have participated in tournaments worldwide. My USCG-issued Captain's License allows me to charter boats up to 100-tons. I speak both English and Spanish.

The Laguna Madre is a lagoon protected on either side by the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge and the Padre Island National Seashore. It is one of the most important and unspoiled lagoon ecosystems in Texas. There are several key fishing spots throughout this lagoon that can only be found with an experienced local guide. The Laguna Madre is truly a Texas treasure, and it can only be experienced from a boat.
