Sacred Cacao is about reviving the ancient use of cocoa as a ceremonial plant medicine used to facilitate heart opening & connection, but without leaving you with a hangover! Ceremony is a time to step outside of the busyness of life and connect with your inner self, it is wonderful way to experience the magical & spiritually rich culture of our beautiful mountain town! In this workshop we will sit together for 2 hours drinking a chocolate brew made from ceremonial grade Guatemalan cacao mixed with traditional herbs & spices. There will be invocations for opening sacred space as well as music-mantra, devotional chanting & sound healing with bowls, bells & a harmonium. You will be given the chance to share any area of your life where you are seeking healing & a greater sense of wholeness. You will then be able to relax & journey with the cacao & music into a space of healing. Participants will learn about cacao & the benefits of ceremony, as well as experience the unique healing portal that is Asheville! Includes live music, guided meditation & heart sharing.

please note that cacao consumption is not required for participation. If you are pregnant or are on heart medication or anti-depressants (MAO inhibitors) let me know as you may want a smaller serving

Hi I am Binah, I am a 20 year Asheville resident & mother of two. I have been facilitating Sacred Cacao ceremonies & healing sessions for several years, locally & along the east coast. I am a certified Herbalist, Energy Healer, Yoga Instructor & Esthetician with a local private practice. I love sharing the best of this beautiful city with my guests and giving them the richest experience of what these sacred mountains have to offer. My ceremonies include live devotional music & a guided healing journey, as well as information on using cacao as medicine & incorporating ceremony into daily life.

We will hold this ceremony in my beautiful healing temple space located in a historic building on the cutest street in downtown Asheville! The studio is tucked away but in a convenient location overlooking Wall Street and the Flat Iron building. After the ceremony participants can easily browse the Asheville downtown scene & check out other local businesses on the same street such as Violet Owl Wellness & Trade & Lore Cafe.

Her studio creates a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes each guest feel comfortable to relax into her/his meditation and share personal reflections. - Binah was a great healer! There were various aspects of the ceremony that included Kirtan chanting, sound bowl healing, Tibetan tingsha, sageing, and different decks of oracle cards. She addressed us specific to our needs...this wasn’t a one size fits all ceremony. We walked away feeling spiritually enlightened and empowered!
- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND participating in this experience! It is such an amazing atmosphere to be in and soak in the knowledge and let someone else help guide you and understand how to begin to heal. Having myself open and vulnerable and receiving feedback used to feel like an attack, but with this experience I was really able to focus and get answers and guidance for myself. Cannot wait to return and participate again!!!
