We will meet in the late evening and talk about the spectacular Aurora Borealis, drive to specific hidden places around town to get the best view of the Northern Lights. Most of these places are not well known, even by the locals. We will be the only persons at some of the places, to watch the spectacular Northern Lights (I bet you don't prefer being with a hundred others, right?). We will wait for the ultimate Aurora, to hunt and see it and take as many pictures of it, as we like. I can also help you to set up your camera to get the best pictures. Don't forget your tripod! Since Whitehorse produces a bit of light pollution, it is not always possible to see the Northern Lights within the city. We're driving to places out of town, places not many people know about, close to nature, where your view is not disrupted by the city lights.
I am living in the Yukon for many years, watched and hunted the Aurora quite often. I am working in the Tourism Industry for many years and gained a lot experience as a tour guide and marketing manager for one of the largest companies up north. I can explain, where and why it is displayed in the sky. Most of the hidden places in the True North, which are perfect to see and enjoy the lights, are not even known by the locals. I published articles in magazines and blogs about the Aurora Borealis, about the Northern Lights, to explain the people this phenomenon.

We have access to many places around town, which are barely known even by the locals. All places are accessible by road and car, no walking or hiking.
