An exclusive pastry making class to discover the fascinating world of this Sicilian traditional art. A triumph of beauty and sweetness, stories and curiosities, to reveal the ancient and eclectic history of our Island. During the class we make from scratch some of the most traditional Sicilian pastries and we will prepare the shells. I will talk about food storytelling by a Sicilian cuisine and culture connoisseur We will taste the pastries made accompanied by sweet wine, juice and tea. I will give you a recipes booklet and a take away box with the pastrie made.
Paola and Elisa are two women and two friends with the passion of food. Paola is an agricultural entrepreneur and her company is focused on cereal cultivations. In 2017, she decided to start using the "grano antico" (ancient grain) to produce a different kind of pasta. This pasta is of pure quality, healthy and traditional of this region. She also has a farm and she is a real expert of Sicilian food :) Elisa is a woman passionate about cooking, food and raw materials. This interest comes from his work experience and from the need to cook only the best for his 8 year old daughter. For this reason they take much care of the ingredients that they use. They loves cooking and love sharing it with others!
