We'll go to see a game and understand how people in Argentina live football: our passions, our traditions, the meaning football has in our lives. We'll see the colours of the fans, hear the sound of the drums, sing the songs and hopefully taste a victory! The experience is meant to be as real as it can get, and as different as to what traditional tours offer. We will go to the game by bus, train or other way of public transport as this is what is normal between fans. We'll stop at a local bar on our way to drink a beer or soda before the match starts, hopefully surrounded by other fans and if we're lucky we can sing some pre-game songs. Either me or a specialized guide will be with you at every moment, inside and outside the stadium so you don't have to worry about logistics, security or anything else: just enjoy the game. Also, he/she will provide all the information you need to know about that specific game you are watching. So feel free to ask anything related to the club, the players, the stadium or football in general. When the game finishes, we will return back to the first meeting point but if you feel like taking a taxi home we'll make sure you do this safely. I will also let you know what colors to wear to the game and if you are interested I can send you a couple of songs to learn beforehand.
I'm a passionate football fan and everything that is related to it. To me, football is also about the fans, the songs, the rituals and traditions, the history and rivalries between clubs. I've been to over 25 national and international stadiums and won't miss the opportunity every time I have the chance to watch a football game. I enjoy a lot going with guests from all over the world to discover new clubs and stadiums and showing them how we live football in Argentina.
At the bar we'll order snacks and finger food to share with guests.
Beer/Soda/Drink at the bar before the game starts.
Tickets for the match If you have any special preference for the seats let me know, otherwise I will pick them according to…
Bus/Train/Subway We will attend to the match by public transport with the rest of the team fans
Games from different clubs in Buenos Aires will be picked looking to catch a derby match, important cups, teams having a high level of football, underdogs competing for the top, best crowd/fans, and most interesting stadiums/neighbourhoods to visit. I will give all my suggestions and we'll pick a match together Seats will be chosen according to these 3 criteria: - Visibility of the game - Fun and excitement with other fans - Safety
Come dressed in the local team's colours! If you're interested in getting official jerseys, let me know in advance.
Safety: Matches are guarded by police and we'll only go to safe stadiums and neighbourhoods. I recommend to come dressed not too fancy and don't bring any expensive items. The program is kid-friendly as long as they are supervised by an adult.
