This is your chance to be a REAL mermaid! Join us for this 90 minute experience where you can learn how to swim like a real mermaid!
We start the day on dry land, meeting our classmates and talking about safety and tail care. Then, we’ll move to the pool where we test swim skills without tails on*, start practicing basics using a monofin, and then learn skills and tricks using the full tail. Don’t worry, I’ll get a video of the entire experience and share it with you once I edit it. We have tails to lend for class, and you can even purchase one to take home!
IMPORTANT NOTE!
All mermaids must know how to swim, and Mermaid classes are open to ages 6 and up. We do hold our ground on these rules, because safety is our biggest concern - there are no exceptions.

Learn to be mermaid from a REAL LIFE MERMAID! Mermaid Ina, your instructor and Sea-E-O of Ina’s Mermaid School, is a down-home, Florida girl who has always found herself in the water. After a life of living as an “undercover Mermaid”, Ina decided to live her dreams and share her passion for mermaids, and open a school for up-and-coming Mers!
Mermaid Ina is a former competitive synchronized swimmer, a Certified Lifeguard, a Certified Freediving Instructor, a Certified Mermaid Instructor, avid Paddlesports enthusiast, and an overall water-woman.

- This is something I have always wanted to do! Despite a change in date and location, Karen was so accommodating and made sure I was able to enjoy swimming like a mermaid!!! Not only did I learn technique, but we did fun flips, blowing underwater kisses and even practiced a small underwater routine!!! Loved every minute and Karen shared a place to go and get my own mermaid tail!!! Such a fun experience and so worth it!!!
