I’m a travel junkie with a French wife and a Master’s degree in German. I’ve been teaching English and German professionally for the past five years and I learned French by immersion. I love to teach and I know what it’s like to be in a country where you don’t speak the language.
I’ll teach you some basic phrases to help you get by during your travels in Europe. You have the option of doing French or German or both and I’ll tailor the lesson to your level, whether you’re an absolute beginner or if you’re just brushing up on your language skills. The idea is to give you not only some linguistic tools but also the confidence to actually speak with locals in their language…
Teaching material I'll bring an extra copy of any teaching materials for you to keep.
Writing utensil and paper or notepad
Cash in small denominations for food or drink
Dress weather-appropriate and bring an umbrella if needed
Rivetoile is a big shopping mall just south of the city center that is easily accessible by tram (Stop Etoile Bourse lines A & D, stop Winston Churchill lines C & E). By foot, Rivetoile about a 20-minute walk from the cathedral. We'll meet in front of the LOWER level H&M and then have our lesson at a café in the mall. Alternatively, if you're interested, we could go to the library café or the cinema café, which are just a short walk away.
