We will begin our tour across the historical neighbourhood of Lisbon right after a brief introduction to our eco-friendly futuristic vehicle: Sitway! After everyone is comfortable and understands the balance system, which is very simple and similar to a segway (although you ride seated), we will start making our way through the historical big squares and the typical narrow streets until we arrive to Alfama. This is the oldest neighbourhood of Lisbon and you will be immersed in portuguese culture from the moment you start discover it. The people, the "Fado" houses, the portuguese tiles, the amazing atmosphere and the food! We are sure that a tasting experience of traditional portuguese food will make you feel like a local, and thats why we have one just ready for you! Either I or my friend Gonçalo, will guide you through this amazing experience, because there's no better way to discover Lisbon than with the help of a "Lisboeta" (someone born and raised in Lisbon).
Joana & Gonçalo
Hi! I'm Joana and you may find me or my best friend Gonçalo hosting this tour! Even though he studied biology and I studied communication, we were both born and raised in the center of Lisbon. Since then an enourmous passion for Lisbon has grown inside us and with that, the will to share it. Together we found a way to take you for a tour of the past seated on the future: Sitways! An eco-friendly vehicle that is basically a segway, but seated. How cool is that? I can assure you that you'll have a rich and unique experience, while having fun comfortably seated! Check our profile to know all the locations where you can ride with us. :)

We will meet up in Cais do Sodré, an important and bohemian neighborhood that connects everyone in the city. From there we are going to Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square), right in front of Lisbon's Downtown, and then to the traditional Alfama district. After the tastying experience we will make our way back to Cais do Sodré.
