We will have a great experience learning and preparing a Mexican dish. The dish will be selected depending on the time the year and available natural ingredients. For example in August and September we prepare Chiles en Nogada, a typical Mexican dish to celebrate independence and is based in Chile poblano. Other times we can prepare cochinita pibil, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc. During the cooking lesson we will share about different kind of chilis in Mexico and what kind of things you can prepare with them. The main part will be prepare our own dish and learn secrets about Mexican food. Cooking lesson (2 -3 hours): - Story about the dish of the day (chiles en nogada, enchiladas, cochinita pibil, quesadillas) - Types of chiles: We will share different kind of chilis you can find in Mexico, know the difference, how spicy they are and what kind of dishes you can prepare - Cooking the dish. - Enjoy your preparation!

Since I moved to San Miguel Allende, I 've been organizing cooking lessons or culinary experiences about Mexican food for foreigners.
