We will take a walk in Coolidge Park and across The Walnut Street Bridge, down to the Tennessee Aquarium and across the Market Street Bridge if you so desire because these places are stunning to photograph. We will cover lighting, manual settings on your DSLR or mirrorless camera, and composition so you can have the control you want over your camera. Also, I can give you some tips on how to use your phone to maximize its potential. Join me in taking photos at some of my favorite locations in Chattanooga!
Hi, my name is Emily! I have lived in Chattanooga for 6 years and have been photographing people, places, and things for 10 years. I'm a full-time photographer focused on landscape photography, weddings, events, and family portraits. I was voted top 3 Best of the Best Photographers in Chattanooga in 2017 and 2018, I won 1st prize in the Find Your Park Centennial contest for the National Park Service in 2016 with a photo of the Milky Way in Big Bend National Park, and I received an honorable mention in The Washington Post Travel Photo Contest in 2018. I love teaching people how to use their cameras to get the most out of it, and I would love to show you the best spots in Chattanooga so I can help you capture the beauty that the Scenic City has to offer!
We will meet in Coolidge Park and we have so many options from there! We can photograph Walnut Street Bridge close to the river, move up to the top of the bridge where we will continue to get awesome shots, walk down to the Tennessee Aquarium and back across Market St. Bridge for a different view of Chattanooga.
DSLR or mirrorless camera
Bring a camera or smart phone with the battery fully charged. We will have a lot of fun seeing Chattanooga's Scenic City! We will be walking some so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Also, we will meet by the carousel in Coolidge Park to get started. Looking forward to meeting you!
