Come experience this unique workshop set to music, in which you'll learn how to use your body to create a distinct print on fabric! At the Ritmo Workshop, participants gather to create tapestries collectively by impressing images onto fabric through pressure applied by the movement of the human body, as well as the power of dance. Each participant will be able to take away a tapestry made from linoleum blocks engraved with Ariel Foster's designs. The work in play at Ritmo was developed through the span of multiple conversations Foster held with various people about the ways that they understand their unique national identities, and the values specific to their native cultures.
