New for 2020: If you're planning to propose on the hike (we've been a part of many of these, amazing!), or to celebrate a special occasion (engagement, birthday, anniversary, etc.), let us know ahead of time so we can make it extra special! No matter which departure time you choose, we'll rendezvous for a beautiful hike at Denver's most famous landmark: Red Rocks Park! After intros, we'll scamper down to the trail and set off on a 1.4-mile adventure, featuring the smallest of elevation gains (~350 feet). Throughout the roughly 70-minute hike, we'll share the history of the area with you, from the development of the park, to stories of the artists who have played at the amphitheater, to the dinosaurs who used to roam the area. You'll finish your experience with a delicious breakfast or lunch in the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, where you'll have time to relax and eat at your leisure. Prepare to break a little sweat and make your friends jealous of your beautiful photos on this hike at Red Rocks!
Hi there - I'm Claire, your lead guide! Between myself and my co-guides, Erica, Jenny and Cody, we've climbed over 16 of Colorado's 14,000-foot peaks, hiked over 700 miles of Colorado trails, and have trekked over 2,300 miles total throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. I am a certified Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED with the American Heart Association.

This hike takes place within Red Rocks Park, and gives you a chance to wander through the meadows and the imposing red monoliths that this Denver Mountain Park is named after. It's close to Denver, and the best place to start your day.

Can I get there without a car? Uber/Lyft both run to/from the trail - half of all hikers choose this method. There is no public transportation to Red Rocks. Is the hike hard? This hike is rated "easy" by all sites. We take it slow, and rest often to ensure it's enjoyable for all skill levels.
