Our visit to Saint Joseph Island will be a true treasure hunt. We will cross over to the island via boat (I will pay the crossing fee) and spend 2 hours searching for shells, sea beans, and any other surprise items we may come across. I will help you identify your finds and show you where to look for the most interesting stuff. You will often see dolphins during the crossing, sea turtles among the jetty rocks, and seabirds, jellyfish, and more as we make our way up the beach. Every visit is different - I never know what we will encounter from day to day!
For the past few years, I've made many crossings to San Jose Island, beachcombing along its primitive shoreline. I didn't have much luck at first – then I learned what to look for and where to look for it. Now, I'd like to share that knowledge with you. Join me for a scenic, educational, and fun trek along the beach in search of nature's treasures! – Got a question or request about dates, times, group size, or special needs requirements? Message me and I will do my best to accommodate you. I love visiting San Jose at every opportunity, so do not feel restricted by the posted dates and times. And yes, your dog is welcome to join us! - Keith PS: All reservations are made via Airbnb. If I agree to an unscheduled date, I will open up that date/time on my Airbnb calendar, where you may make your reservation.
