As soon as you arrive, you will be offered with a glass of wine. You are free to sip as much as you like through the rest of the night FOR FREEEE!! For those who are not into alcoholic drinks, we have some soft drinks available too.
Our lovely host will take you to your seats and explain what we will be actually doing with all those paint, canvases and brushes. As you could already guess, this is not going to be an art school or anything like that. It is all about fun, meeting new people and creating some great experiences together.
Host will guide you step-by-step to make your own master piece. We will have a certain theme for the night for you to re-create, but you are free to do anything you want to do. Or as long as you don't decide to paint the walls of our Art Bottega in some crazy color. The best part is that you get to take your own piece of art back with you as a memory to great time you had in Split.
All languages are welcomed. You might get surprised by our instructors speaking a little bit of your own language.

We are group of great individuals and professionals in fields of art, hospitality, entertainment and event management. Our goal is to bring art and fun together for non-professionals painters like you.
Our team is consist of 3 professional artists Zrinka, Ivana and Vana who will guide you step by step through the whole experience. This is not an art school or a class, it is all about fun but who knows maybe one of you is a hidden Picasso waiting to be discovered. Each of our hosts is fluent in English, some are in Italian too. The other can use a basics of other EU languages like ES, DE, FR. Our events are held mostly on English. All languages are welcomed and it is barely a basic level of English needed to enjoy the party. When there is free wine, good music and painting in the room, language becomes not important at all.

Art Bottega is a cozy place inside of the old Diocletian palace. Interior inside looks like wine cellar and art studio combined. You will love it, come visit us to see it for yourself!

- I was messaged with the incorrect address, then when I asked, I was sent incorrect google search terms for the new address, the correct address but difficult to find because there is no sign on the door, no street names that I could find in the area, no label on the door. I asked if there was a label on the door and they never replied, so I assumed there was...No one at the door as I searched the neighborhood and passed by the correct door 4 times, both before, at, and after the start of class. There was a small number “4” up high that would have been meaningful if I’d seen it in the dark and known that I was on the correct street. Google maps is not reliable within the Diocletian Palace area, your little blue dot jumps around a lot, making it difficult to identify street names. No apologies for the 25 minutes of walking through the neighborhood searching and waiting for their replies... It’s off-season now, so instructions were only given in Croatian. That’s very appropriate, and I’m glad the experience is so accessible and comfortable for locals, but it was advertised as English and I came because I was looking for an opportunity to shift gears and relax in a group where I could speak English and be easily understood. The assistant said she’d translate, she translated the first 10 minutes as 3 sentences of completely conflicting instructions, then disappeared to the other side of the room apparently trying to avoid me unless she had to pass me for supplies. I had to ask the instructor (who seemed more welcoming and pleasant) to translate during pauses in his presentation. The guests, especially the man next to me, were kind enough to also help but understood very little English. It took a lot of effort to continuously reach out to the group, and was especially awkward since I’d come alone. Having the suggested example to paint and all the available art supplies available to experiment was nice, but I could have purchased everything myself for the price...especially since I was made to feel so alone! The painting example was extremely simple and interesting nature scene, I found it a good choice to relax and enjoy creating something fun without feeling pressure to copy a masterpiece! It was nice to have someone else clean the brushes. I’d recommend this if you have nothing else to do and can come with a friend or group of friends who know how to create their own fun. All the supplies are there and the idea is good! And no one was deliberately rude, they just hadn’t bothered to update their information and didn’t realize how misleading it was, or how it felt to be left out of the group.
- Lovely experience and great as a way to escape from the crowds and try something new. They encourage you to drink as much wine as you like and surprisingly the wine is actually decent quality. It's not gonna change the world, but you can get far worse wine for a lot more money. They made the activity seem simple and unchallenging but it quickly brought out the artists in us and now we're both super proud of our masterpieces! Definitely worth a go if you have some time in your schedule. And if you don't have any time, free some up. We even screwed up the start time and they managed to reschedule it for us at the last minute which was really cool of them.
- Io e i miei amici abbiamo trascorso una serata super stimolante ed eccitante. Ivana, Vana, Zrinka & Stipe sono molto gentili e simpatici. Il laboratorio in cui si dipinge è confortevole e accogliente. Vino buonissimo!! Atmosfera serena e gradevole e sottofondo musicale. È un'esperienza molto divertente... La professionalità degli host e la loro disponibilità fanno sì che il tuo dipinto sia unico e personale. Da parte loro nessun giudizio e tanti suggerimenti per poter completare al meglio la tua personale"opera d'arte "😜😜 Se siete a Spalato o nei dintorni, fate questa esperienza. Non vi pentirete. Puoi portare il quadro a casa e credo sia il più bel souvenir io abbia mai portato a casa da un viaggio!!! Grazie!!!!!! Stefania, Giacomo, Giulia e Daniele.
