We start out with an introduction of myself and my work experience and a short introduction on researching as a trend forecaster. Then I would love to hear about your work and what you are working on right or finding interesting so I know where we should focus. Then we can take a look at my previous trend work and we can go through how I have learnt to forecast fashion and design trends. We can have a talk about the most recent trends and colour and fabric trends and also the biggest consumer trends going on right now which will impact the future and your market. Then I would love to take you walking through Copenhagen the way I seek inspiration. We will go to key vintage stores, boutiques, perhaps some designer showrooms, and the most important art galore, trendy cafes and interior boutiques.
With an Masters from the London College of Fashion and having worked over 17 years as a Trend Forecaster in London, Milan, Paris and Copenhagen for leading trend agencies and design houses I am perfectly equipped to give designers and design enthusiasts a vision into the life as a trend forecaster. I have her trend presentation t major fashion trade shows and have also had a trend course at Marangoni design school in Milan. Using Copenhagen as my backdrop I will show you how I gather inspiration from this city. I will also be showing you some of my own trend work and explain my process.
I love the vintage stores in Copenhagen because the owners are generally always in the store, and ready to talk to you about new trends they have recently spotted from their vintage travels to Rome, Paris and New York.
This is your experience so we can tailor make it to your needs. For example - If you are a knit designer and want knit inspiration will look at that! If you need branding trends we will focus on that
