We will begin your experience with a short demonstration on making a bowl. Shortly after, you will follow the instructions and replicate what I have made. Of course, I hope to provide a casual experience for the guests while enjoying refreshments and snacks. My studio Assistant Madeline and Tyler may also be around to help those in need. Depending on the class, Madeline or Tyler will be the lead instructor. Please note that you won’t be able to keep what you make due to the lengthy process involved. At the end of the class, I will gift a studio mug to you to remember your experience.
My passion for pottery started when I took my first pottery class in 2009. I was captivated by the process of forming a ball of clay into something functional and elegant. As a Tibetan, Chinese, American I have worked and lived with people of many backgrounds. After opening my own studio, I have been teaching wheel classes and have gained a real connection working with people and show-casing an art form that all people must experience.
