体验内容
We will start the tour walking into the vineyard. I will explain the productive cycle of the vine and you will learn how we make the wine. I will tell my family history because we are wine producers from 5 generations. Then, we will get down our unique wine cellar that has been dug in 1881 and it is 20 meters underground. Afterwards, we will taste three kinds of wines (our exclusive sparkling wine made by the same method of Champagne, regular white and regular red wine). I'm going to teach you how approach to the wine by a funny rating method based on our senses: sight, smell, and taste. Then, we will enjoy and relax ourself in front of many drinks and snacks, chatting and forgetting for a while the crowd of Rome!

Bring your camera and comfortable shoes. I will provide to you the time schedule of the train from Roma Termini to Zagarolo or Colonna.

I grew up into this winery, since my grandfather produced his wine, but until 3 years ago I have worked in an other field since I have graduated in Economics Science. Last year I told to my father: " Dad! I would like to make my wine!". So I experimented my first vinification, making a wine dedicated to my grandfather but that reaches the new market. I will be happy to share with you my suggestive world!

My winery is in Zagarolo, a small town into the Rome countryside reachable by a fast train ride. We will arrive at the winery and we will tour the vineyard and we will go down the cave where you can see how we refine the sparkle wine and I will show you our machines for making wine (explaining the process since the harvest to the bottle). Then you will taste the wine relaxing yourself in our familiar and amazing estate, learning more about wine.

- Great experience and fantastic host. Learnt plenty about the history of wine making at Nicoletta's families winery and got to taste a sample of some of the wine made there. Was able to buy some bottles to take home. Nicoletta was a great talker and provided lots of narrative in a friendly manner. Highly recommend this experience.
- Nicoletta offers the best wine taste experience in all Rome! I visited Cantina del Tufaio with my girlfriend and we both had a great experience. Nicoletta walked us through the wine making process, shared her familiy traditions and showed us how to properly taste a wine. Highly recommended !
- My friend and I had an absolutely delightful afternoon with Nicoletta, and I would highly recommend the experience to anyone who was looking for a very particular and personal vineyard experience. Nicoletta kindly picked us up at the station, and drove us to her family's vineyard. What we enjoyed most was the very personal nature of the visit: this is a small family vineyard and we loved meeting her parents and feeling a very genuine and familial atmosphere. The sparkling white wine was fresh and delicious and we loved their red!
- We would recommend to anybody! We had the loveliest time with Nicoletta from start to finish. She picked us up from the station which was so helpful and we learned so much from the knowledge she has gained from her family business. We learned how to make, taste and appreciate wine the real way and even got complimentary nibbles too. It was just perfect and we would go back again if we visit Rome again. The wine was beautiful and we got to take some home!
