Guests will enjoy a three hour watercolour tutorial. My introductory class will teach guests all about what paper is best to use, what different brushes do, how to mix colours, tonal values, composition and much more. At the end of the three hour class you will be able to produce a fabulous little masterpiece, ready for framing and hanging. Morning or afternoon tea will be provided. The first half of the workshop will be mostly theory and practice, after morning or afternoon tea we will begin painting your very own masterpiece. There will be plenty of individual guidance, but if you all ready have some experience we can take it from where you are comfortable.
I began painting in 1991 when I took a night class in painting with watercolours. At that first class was hooked and it began a passion that continues today. Since then I have taken many workshops with some of Australia's and the worlds best watercolourists. I am a colourist - which means I love to paint in vivid colours, I don't believe I draw really well, nor do I think that you need to draw well either. I will teach you how to get results from the very beginning. I am passionate about watercolours and believe anyone can get results if they have the desire.

The class will take place in my art studio called 'The Workshop', there is a sign on the front of the yellow shed which is located at the back of the property at the end of the driveway. Please do not knock on the front door of the residence, it is a private rental. Everything you need will be supplied, all you will need is to bring your creative side.
