Mont Saint-Hilaire is a beautiful nature reserve that offers many trails all year round. The hike we will do will cover around 7km and will take 2.5 hours return. We will walk to a beautiful viewpoint that overlooks the city of Montreal and continue to a nice and peaceful lake. You will get to observe the local fauna and flora, as well as local species of birds and mammals such as chipmunks, deer, and more if we are lucky! After the hike, we will make a pit stop at a local orchard, where we will get the chance to taste various ciders made in Mont Saint-Hilaire, as well as purchase some homemade local products.
I'm passionate about the outdoors and love hiking in my spare time. I've hiked in places like Everest Base Camp in Nepal, Half Dome in California, the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco and many more. I’m also a rock climbing instructor and founder of my outdoor rock climbing company, Climbing Escapes. Whether it is through hiking or rock climbing, I love exploring around Montreal and to show the hidden gems of my own backyard! Join this hike to breathe fresh air, spend time in the outdoors and get active in nature!
