What you'll do
We will meet at the crossing of the Riva promenade and Hrvojeva street (by the south-east tower of the Diocletian palace) just look for a guide with an ORANGE COOKING SPOON! This 3-hours guided tour includes generous food stops with our traditional seafood and meat delicacies, local wines and spirits! Morning food&history adventure we will start on our Green market with traditional finger foods like prosciutto,pancetta, cheeses and famous "peka" bread. Afternoon food&history starts with all these delicacies in a charming restaurant inside of ancient Diocletian's palace Next stop - a great restaurant well known for seafood specialities and “macaroni” - handmade pasta with glasses of local wines from south Croatia. You will also have the opportunity to taste traditional pies, homemade like our grandmothers used to make it, typical examples of delicious and superhealthy mediterranean foods in Croatia. During the next part of our tour we will visit the oldest pastry shop in Split where all traditional sweets are made by hundred years old secret recipes and there we will have our traditional homemade gelato. Rest assured, you will enjoy this history and gourmet tour with all the best cultural and gourmet highlights of Split!

Where you'll be
We will experience our Green market - the belly of Split (on a morning tour), ancient Diocletian's palace, medieval squares, Riva promenade, Marmontova street, Gregory from Nin statue... During the sightseeing, we will stop at different traditional food stops - Green market, local taverns and restaurants for seafood and meat coldstarters, traditional cooked dishes with great croatian wines and a dessert stop of course.
