Find a RELIEF from your whirling thoughts and FAST-PACED LIFE. Breathe easy and IMMERSE yourself in the NATURAL splendor of the Pacific Northwest with us. Through MINDFULNESS practices and a guided MEDITATION we invite you to connect more deeply with your inner self. At the end of this RELAXING and ENERGIZING hike, we'll debrief and explore ways to carry this deeper connection with nature into your daily life. The BENEFITS of MEDITATION and of time in NATURE are well documented by modern MEDICINE; by combining the two and giving you a couple of practices to take with you, our aim is to provide an experience that goes beyond a lovely day in a crazy beautiful forest. A sense of ADVENTURE and FUN are two of our core values and we infuse them into all that we do. The forest is sacred, but it doesn't have to be serious - spontaneous skipping from the bubbling up of sheer joy has been known to happen on our hikes Guided by the Heart. This is the PNW, please note that we hike rain or shine. Walking in the forest when it's raining can be magical.
We are two experienced hiking guides and world adventurers, Randy & Kasia, passionate about mountains and sharing their beauty and wisdom with others. We travel the world leading transformational journeys and Authentic Relating trainings, but we call Seattle home because of all the incredible nature that the PNW has to offer. We have been leading hikes and other adventures all over the Pacific Northwest for the past 4 years, combining fun with mindfulness practices to find some peace of mind in this fast-paced world. These hikes are one leg of our business, Guided by the Heart- Our mission is to weave connection into the fabric of daily life for millions of people. Connection to Self, Others and Nature.
