We will start the day with a 2 to 3 hours hike along the coastline of Trois-Rivières a mix of river and waterfall sites and ocean views! From native tribe heritage: the engraved rocks to the first colonists and slavery time: remain of an old sugar factory to a battery point, to protect the island from the enemy. A full discovery of nature and history. We will then be ready for lunch in a local restaurant by the little port of Trois-Rivieres. We will continue our discovery by stopping on the most beautiful black sand beach of the island, at the light house, virtual line between the caribbean sea and the atlantic ocean and we will finish our day in a warm spring, surounding by the rainforest, peaceful moment of relaxation. Some local snacks and juices will be proposed to sustain ourselves. Coffee, tea and water are included and available in the confi van in which I will take you to the different locations.
Local Restaurant. Crackers, chips, fruits..
The engraved rocks of the hike are less known and visited than the one in the Archeological Park in Trois-Rivieres, I will take you out of bitten tracks. The warm spring, well know for its pool in the shape of a heart, but we will get deaper into the rainforest, to get to the natural pool and falls. The lighthouse, amazing point of view on Basse-Terre City and Les Saintes, it is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea connects!
