Coming from a French gourmet family, I remember baking cakes from early childhood and spending hours in the kitchen watching my grandmother confectioning raspberry ice creams and apple pies… I grew up, studied Economics and then started to work in an office but after a few years, I decided to return to my early passion and to learn French pastry in Paris. Then, I started to host tourists in my Parisian apartment to share with them my love for cooking. After moving to San Francisco two years ago and realizing that I was missing my French bakery, I decided to start making my own croissants and I naturally started to teach my friends here. As passing on my 'savoir-faire' is an other passion, I am looking forward to sharing with you this moment of baking and of tasting this famous delicacy which is part of my French culture.
After meeting at the corner of my road, we will walk to my house in Noe Valley. We will be baking the croissants in my home kitchen, and then, if you wish it, we can either sit outside on the deck overlooking the garden and enjoy the croissants with a drink or the house if you prefer.
