8 people max! First, we'll take some minutes to take confidence with the engine of the e-bikes; you don't need to be particularly fit even if we'll cover hilly roads; the engine makes the effort for you. In a couple of minutes, we'll leave the city center to reach the countryside towards the south area of Florence. Through a nice bike path, we'll get to the most popular panoramic view over the city of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo. From there, we can admire from the distance all the architectures of the city. After some photographic shoots, we'll visit Abbazia San Miniato al Monte, slightly higer, founded in 1018. With the use of the electric engine, in no time we'll be in the area of Arcetri, where the scenaro is totally different: no tourists, olives groves, small vineyards, typical Tuscan countryside. I'll tell you something about our local products such as the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the wine. Electric bikes, nature, green colors, red poppies and birds cheeping are the context of this ride. After the ride, we'll get back to the city center to taste some Tuscan finger food with a glass of wine to replace the calories burned! If you want to make it private, longer or shorter, if you have kids, if a date is not available just contact me!
Hi everyone and welcome in my Airbnb activity! I'm Alessia, 27 years old, born and raised in Florence! A bike is the best way to explore actively the city so I decided to turn my passion into a job! With our company Florentbike, my husband and I created in 2013 the first e-bike tour in Italy, being official tour guide and escort. The team of co-hosts that you may meet when we are not available is selected by us: they are all nice, passioned and official guides I have two experiences, both focusing on places that the majority of tourists normally couldn't reach easily alone. Would you like to see more of the countryside and have the exclusive access into a farm with animals and olive groves? Here is my 4 hours experience: https://www.airbnb.it/experiences/402134 City center? https://www.airbnb.it/experiences/123287?adults=1&source=p2
Tuscan specialities Water, glass of wine and some typical snacks in the end of the tour
I have invented this tour to show everybody how beautiful is the city where I live. I mix part of the city as Michelangelo Square with the beautiful countryside of Arcetri, passig by small and narrow streets without traffic: for this reason the tour can be adapted to everyone.
