After I have explained some basics about navigating the sea in a sailboat, we’ll leave Port Olimpic . My sailboat is Samui ( Benneteau Oceanis 12 meters) .Once you feel ready, you can take command while sailing along the coast towards the picturesque fishing village of Badalona/Montgat. Halfway we will drop anchor and relax and, it you would like you can swim in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, listening the wind and the waves. With a bit of luck we might even spot some dolphins swimming alongside the boat !! Once we are moored back in the port you will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of Vermouth and taste delicious tapas from Spain. Sometimes my friend David, who is a sailing instructor at Port Olimpic, comes with us
Other things to note
This Experience is subject to weather conditions. My experience includes two hours of navigation, stop for swimming ( if the sea is good ) and vermouth with tapas in the port.

Hi I’m Deo. I used to own a tapas bar and now I’m the proud owner of a sailboat. Fifteen years ago I decided to combine the two passions to share excellent vermouth and my sailing knowledge with people from around the world. I have more than twenty years of experience, sailing in all weather conditions.

The meeting point is a " Port Olimpic " where my boat is anchored. We will sail along Brcelona´s coastline on our way to Badalona/Montgat, ideal for snorkelling and swimming and to enjoy beautiful wiews of the Barcelona skyline and Mediterranean waters. The boat is located on MOLL DE XALOC, PANTALAN 7 ( see map below) . You will have to walk past the restaurants and around the port to the last moring pier, next to the little gas station.

- La experiencia con Deo sólo se puede describir cómo mágica. Fuimos a celebrar el estar vivas y de nuestro compromiso matrimonial y fue un día que nunca olvidaremos. Gracias a nuestro maravilloso anfitrión. El paseo en barco, sus historias, amabilidad, el baño en el mar, la seguridad y eficiencia y el increíble vermut al final hicieron del día uno muy especial.
- Deo and his friend are good hosts, we chatted a bit but they also gave is privacy to talk between us. We had beers and cava with some tapas, all were great. The boat is clean and a nice sailing boat. My only comment would be that we didnt really move too far from BCN port and stayed close to the area so we didnt see much. Other than that if was a great few hours to spend on the sea nd the sun.
- My boyfriend and I were so excited to sail on Deo’s boat! He and his co-captain, made the experience absolutely wonderful! The day started off cloudy and windy, but we were able to sail - my boyfriend drove the boat for some time. At the end we were very lucky and saw the most beautiful orange and pink sunset over Barcelona. At the end, Deo made delicious sangria and tapas! The weather was fine and Deo and his co captain made up for the lack of sunshine! I highly recommend sailing with Deo!
