Ile d'Orleans is a cyclist's paradise: Spectacular landscapes, a rich history and delicious local products are waiting to be discovered all along the way. On electric bikes, we'll ride to the island's most beautiful village, visit a fruit farm, a winery and the local chocolate factory. We meet at my motel on Ile d'Orleans, close to the bridge. Upon arrival, you'll get a detailed safety introduction, before following me on this easy bike tour of 20 km / 12.5 mi. There is no bike path; we'll use the road's safe sidewalk. We'll visit the Italian Gardens of Porteous Manor and taste the famous Strawberries of Ile d'Orleans. I'll share fascinating details about history and local agriculture, a very important aspect of the island's economy. As we reach the pictoresque village of St.Pétronille, we'll take a break from cycling at the Chocolaterie de l'Ile. Stroll on the St.Lawrence River's shores and enjoy the amazing view on Quebec City's skyline. Take plenty of faboulous pictures! On our way back to the motel, we'll stop at one of the island's most classy wineries. Overlooking the Montmorency Falls, we'll taste their selection of local wines. The tour will take 3 hours.

The island features no bike path; we'll use the road's secure shoulder. We are often asked how to get to the meeting point without a car. Simply take a cab / Uber; we are 15 min driving from the Old Quebec.
