This workshop requires a minimum of 6 participants at $100 each or the equivalent amount. Experience the most beautiful trails, natural wonders and hidden spots anywhere around the Monterey Peninsula. You pick the spots or I can suggest some too. Discover and experience some of the best spots for landscape photography in the world! This workshop offers a unique, fun and informative approach to photography that guarantees you'll improve your photographic skills from this day on. We meet on any location around the Monterey Peninsula or Big Sur. Our main model subject is one of the top natural wonders of the world! Regardless of your current camera, skill level or previous experience you will learn powerful image-making techniques that will help you use your equipment while improving the composition, handling of light, and visual communication skills. During our 2hr leisure hike at the preferred location we'll be walking gorgeous paths, making strategic stops around the top photogenic spots, secret views, and vantage points around the area. We walk at your preferred pace and will pick the best routes based on your photo interests and hiking goals. You will also likely see lots of wildlife like sea otters, seals, humpback whales, dolphins, orcas, over 60 different bird species, and more!
My teaching background includes 5 years as University Professor, 7 yrs as International Baccalaureate Organization high-school Teacher, and Art Examiner. In recent years I’ve been facilitating team building workshops for all the major Tech Companies in the Bay Area. I worked as Gallery Director an built one of the top Fine-Art art galleries in the California Central Coast in Big Sur. Living in Carmel inspired me to create an art and wellness-based program that facilitates a link with nature and try to use them as much as possible.
