I will take you to the nicest hidden and some popular restaurants in lovely Reykjavik by foot. We will try fresh fish on a spear or whale meat, the local "kjötsúpa" lamb soup, the best hot dog in the island, Fermented shark (optional) and the traditional skyr dessert. The places are not so far from each other. Please notice that only water, a complimentary coffee, a small snack (fish jerky) and a hot dog are included in the price of the tour so you can pay for the extra things that you choose to have. We will have a reservation at each place :) Along the way, I will tell you about the places of interest that we pass by, like the the cabinet of Iceland, the Prime Minister's Office in Reykjavik and the old city harbor. We will also visit one of the oldest restaurants in town which happens to have a very interesting and unique story behind it, the hot dog stand where Bill Clinton and the Kardashians ate while in Iceland and some other cozy locations. I love to share real stories about the city and I can provide you the best personalized excursions recommendations for your stay in Reykjavik :) Let’s go local together, have a taste of Reykjavik and a look at the city!
My name is Susi and I’m a 28 year old adventurer from Peru, living in Iceland for half of my life. I work for a well known excursions company in the costumer service area and eventually as a tour guide. I’m also an Icelandic- Spanish social interpreter. I have experience hosting guests around this beautiful city and trying out the best of the Icelandic cuisine. After an extensive research on the area, I have compiled the best food experience for you!. I’ll like to describe myself as a very outgoing person with passion for food, music, languages and who loves to travel and meet new people

We’ll go to 2 amazing restaurants, a bar and a hot dog stand that are not so far from each other. We will experience a nice walk by the old harbor and the center since all the places are by or on the Reykjavik city center and may end at a nice surprise event (depend on the weekday).
